ROUTE Rome – Vatican City – Pisa – Florence – Venice


Day 1: Arrive Rome

Upon arrival meet your private transfer at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Check – in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Rome, Italy's capital, is a sprawling, cosmopolitan city with nearly 3,000 years of globally influential art, architecture and culture on display. Ancient ruins such as the Forum and the Colosseum evoke the power of the former Roman Empire. Vatican City, headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church, has St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, which house masterpieces such as Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel frescoes. Overnight in Rome.


Day 2: Tour to Vatican City

Enjoy Breakfast at Hotel. We first visit Vatican City – the smallest country in the world or as one says a country within a country. Mother Teresa was beatified here on 19th Oct., 2003. After visiting the Vatican, we start panoramic tour of city of Rome & see the famous Colosseum (Outside) – the venue of grand contests in the ancient times, The Forum & other monuments of ancient Roman rulers. Then it's time to visit Trevi Fountain where you can ask for a wish by tossing a coin over your shoulders into the Fountain. Just behind it is the famous Spanish Steps. We also see Arch de Constantine, The Forum Romanum, The Temples of Saturn & Concord, The Arch of Augustus, The Circus Maximus & other important Roman Monuments. Overnight in Rome.


Day 3: Rome to Pisa

After breakfast your journey towards Pisa, is a city in Italy's Tuscany region best known for its iconic Leaning Tower. Already tilting when it was completed in 1372, the 56m white- marble cylinder is the bell tower of the Romanesque, striped-marble cathedral that rises next to it in the Piazza dei Miracoli. Also in the piazza is the Baptistry, whose renowned acoustics are demonstrated by amateur singers daily, and the Caposanto Monumentale cemetery. Visit Leaning tower of Pisa, once reached and set off on a leisurely walk to Cathedral Square. The beautiful walled square is said to be the heart of Pisa, and as you explore, learn about its history and monuments. Admire Duomo di isa, Campo Santo, Pisa Baptistry, and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free time to enjoy the numerous shops near Tower of Pisa.

Day 4: Pisa to Florence

After breakfast your journey towards Florence, capital of Italy's Tuscany region, is home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. One of its most iconic sights is the Duomo, a cathedral with a terracotta-tiled dome engineered by Brunelleschi and a bell tower by Giotto. The Galleria dell Accademia displays Michelangelo's "David" sculpture. The Uffizi Gallery exhibits Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus" and da Vinci's "Annunciation." Florence Tour, includes the Signora Square, the colorful marble cathedral and enjoy the breathtaking architecture, with the amazing sculptures and wealth of ornate churches.

Day 5: Florence to Venice

Enjoy Breakfast at Hotel. After breakfast your journey towards Venice, capital of northern Italy's Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a marshy lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Its stone palaces seemingly rise out of the water. There are no cars or roadways, just canals and boats. The Grand Canal snakes through the city, which is filled with innumerable narrow, mazelike alleys and small squares.

Day 6: Sightseeing Tour Of Venice

Enjoy Breakfast at Hotel. Venice tour, visit art galleries, theaters and opera houses – discover Venetian theater, musicians, Marco Polo's house, exquisite churches, famous artists and the Jewish Ghetto, with a stop for food and drinks at Rialto bridge. You have a chance to visit Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour.
Overnight in Venice.


Day 7: Venice - Departure

Enjoy Breakfast at Hotel. Check out and proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Arrive home with pleasant memories of your Swiss tour, which we are sure you will treasure for a lifetime.
