“All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost.”

These words by English poet and writer J.R.R. Tolkien, sums up our beliefs on being a wanderer in a perfect way.

Sleeping under the stars and waking up to the chirping of birds, trek through unexplored wooded jungles or go fishing in the sparkling river, go hiking up the rocky terrain or enjoy a drive in the dense forest of Corbett National Park. If this sounds like an ideal day for you, look no further!!

For the free spirited soul in you, Splendour Hospitality brings to you a “back to the basics” camping experience. No luxury tents, no fancy gear just plain simple and rustic.

Located at a distance of approx 6-7 hours drive from Delhi, about 30 kms ahead of Corbett on the way to Ranikhet, is the village Digolikhal. Nestled among hills of Uttaranchal, in an idyllic setting is the Maanila Nature Camps. Vast, scenic and inarguably beautiful, this place is close to the Corbett National Park, yet quite secluded and away from the concrete stretch of Corbett. Located at a height of 1600 mtrs, the village is much cooler than Corbett and it’s surrounding areas. An initiative by ILH, the campsite is a perfect place to rewind and distress.

Maanila Nature Camps, Digolikhal lets you enjoy the best of both worlds, the charm of a jungle safari and the stay in rustic wilderness without the trappings of luxury.

Keeping in mind the ecological factors and to offer a true rustic experience, our campsite features no permanent structures. The tents are pitched before a group arrives; toilets are sand toilets and food freshly cooked from the local produce. All structures are made from locally sourced material and have been designed keeping the local ecological factors in mind.

For those who enjoy camping in AC luxury tents, this is certainly not your cup of tea.

So, what are you waiting for………….grab your backpack and let the adrenalin flow. You only live once, make all your dreams come true.
